Time for a Mass Effect confession: I get really quite insane about my Shepard. To such an extent that I look at every other Shepard out there and think: “That’s not Shepard, that’s an impostor!” I think that even about the default Shepard. And it’s almost impossible for me to play a male Shepard, because it just feels weird and wrong. I have yet to play a male Shepard out of Eden Prime. And I can’t think of the other femShep I have as a real Shepard either. I have about a million different Hawkes and most of them are real, proper Hawkes to me, but there is only one canon Shepard for me. I get so weird about her that I don’t even want to tell her first name to anyone. And I can’t even think about sharing her face with anyone else. I’m such a weirdo. xD;

  1. justicedisapproves said: i have to turn off the volume to play non-main shep, otherwise i get irked that my shep wouldn’t be doing what i’m making this shep do. :| Not so much an issue with broSheps, as I’m not as attached to them. XD; And yes! I feel the same re: sharing
